I believe the current environmental situation about global warming started way long back since the industrial revolution. With the advent of industrialization came a silent killer if you will, one that will pollute the atmosphere and eventually lead to the warming of the earth’s atmosphere. Smoke, smog, carbon emissions, cfc’s, etc have clogged the green house gases in the upper atmosphere leading to it’s thickening and trapping sunlight from reflecting back into space.
Every action has equal and opposite reaction as per newton’s 3rd law of motion. Only difference in this case it’s taken all these years to slowly warm the planet. I don’t know of any clear solution to this but i do know that it might take at least the same amount of time to detoxify the planet and put it back to its normal state. Ok, it’s that time of the year when you start wondering what’s wrong with your sinuses and quickly realize it’s time to switch on the humidifier that you stashed away last year. If you don’t have one, it is a daunting task to decide which one to buy as there are many choices and kinds. So, for the benefit of the reader’s i would welcome anybody to share their experiences and recommendations on buying a good humidifier.
What do you think is the best humidifier out there in the market? Warm or cold mist, expensive or affordable? Does it need replacement filter or is it maintenance free? Do you feel better after using it or just the same and returned the item.

Gripes! Where is my Melissa? If you have been tuning to cnbc on weekdays around 7pm est, you will know what iam talking about. Melissa used to be the host of this great financial program that offers useful insights into the world of investing but now the program is off air. Why do all good things come to an end? This is a big loss for the viewers and she was a smart host. Hopefully this is all temporary & the folks at CNBC bring back Melissa quickly.

Understanding the needs of the consumer. Agreed VZ has a reliable network, enough to make me keep renewing my contract but when it comes to the phone itself, it’s bad. What does it take for them to sell a black color blackberry worldphone or for that matter any blackberry phone in black. This is just plain stupid. The website sucks too. I couldn’t send a feedback with just my email id. They need a whole freaking profile info. Come on.
Sadly but truly, the world we live now has become complicated and isolated. It still takes more time to get things done, more paper in the office, too much time spent on computers. You have been unplugged!

For some weird reason it was not possible to uninstall .net framework 1.0 and 1.1. I had to do this as the windows update for the frameworks kept failing. There were two security fixes. Finally and surprisingly, i was able to find an MSDN KB article that had detailed instructions on manually uninstalling and it worked perfectly. Below are the links.
